Up close and personal with the well known Bornean Savage-Orangutan. This primate is experimentally known as Pongo pgymaeus, representing 97% of human DNA. Experienced this unique animal in Sepilok’s regular area, they figured out how to experience again in the thick Borneo wilderness of Sepilok Orang Utan Reserve. The raised wooden walkway takes you to the observation deck, where the orangutan gradually rises up out of the rainforest woodland and is taken care of by the officer.
After pick up from your hotel of choice, set out on a journey to the popular Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center arranged in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Once you reach there, your guide will give a short brief before entering the Center. Admire and explore as you get the chance to experience Bornean Orang Utans very close as they will be in their normal environment. You will continue to a walkway through the rainforest where you can observe the Orang Utan feeding.Not only that, this tour included lunch in Sandakan local restaurant. Lastly, once the tour ends you will be dropped off back to your hotel.
