Kapas Island or Pulau Kapas represents “Cotton Island” in Malay. This original name is gotten from the cotton-like beach on the island. Kapas Island is very suitable for snorkelling because there is a lot of coral and other marine life, visibility is good, the water is deep and calm. Since corals mainly surround the rocky edge of the island, you can still swim on the beautiful beach even at low tide.
